Identify key stakeholders in the Newton Tree Conservancy and community to better understand the individual roles and how they relate to each other.
Capture initial thoughts
A quick sketch on a napkin or piece of paper enables me to record my initial thoughts.
I always ask myself “who or what is missing” to be as inclusive as possible.
Refine the visual map
I created this first map to visually represent the people and the nature of this organization.
However, this layout was not inclusive enough - it’s too linear and literally divided by the tree.
Final stakeholder map
This circle layout is more inclusive and better represents the emphasis and impact of open communication and community building.
